How to Calculate Concrete Volume for Your Project

🏗 How to Calculate Concrete Volume for Your Project

Many people think calculating concrete is complicated, but the formula is actually simple:

📐 Length × Width × Thickness = Volume (m³)

Example:
• A driveway 10 m long, 3 m wide, and 0.1 m thick
• 10 × 3 × 0.1 = 3 m³ of concrete

👉 Always add about 10% extra for shrinkage, uneven ground, or unexpected needs.

💡 Tips:
• For foundations, thickness is usually 0.2–0.4 m.
• For sidewalks and patios – 0.1–0.15 m.
• For parking areas – 0.15–0.2 m.

✨ A correct calculation = saving money and making sure you have enough concrete.
