📏 Basic formula:
🧱 Volume = Length × Width × Thickness

✅ Example:
You’re pouring a slab:
🔹 10 ft × 10 ft × 4 inches thick

Steps:

Convert 4 inches to feet → 4 ÷ 12 = 0.33 ft

Multiply: 10 × 10 × 0.33 = 33 cubic feet

Convert to cubic yards (U.S. standard):
👉 33 ÷ 27 = 1.22 cubic yards

📌 So you’ll need about 1.25 cubic yards of concrete, including a little extra.

💡 Pro tip: Always order 10% more than the calculated volume — for leveling, waste, and settling.
